Before taking the measurement, make sure your pool water is filled to its capacity. Then take a ruler/tape measure and place the tape’s end on the surface of the pool’s ledge. The height that the water hits the tape measure is your water depth. You can also refer to your pool’s design file from your pool builder to see the specific water depth for your ledge.
